KUBISTIKA

Kubistika is a Berlin based design studio led by Boris Draschoff, an illustrator who pares subjects down to colour, shape and quiet rhythm. The name traces to the Greek kaleidoscope, the observation of beautiful forms, and that idea threads through every piece he draws.

Draschoff works between cubist geometry and pop influenced collage, often built around muted pastels, ochres and dusk tones. From his Berlin studio he composes low suns, birds on wires, branches and quiet figures. London flats and Manchester terraces sit well with this palette, as do Bristol townhouses leaning toward an abstract wallpaper mood.

Edinburgh tenement flats and Birmingham new builds suit Draschoff's pared back forms on a single feature wall, often beside a minimalist wallpaper feature elsewhere in the home.
